Christian Hughes, is a BABCP Accredited Psychotherapist with extensive experience in civilian, military, & veteran, mental health, having served as a uniformed mental health clinician in the British Army, secondary care community mental health, and as a senior NHS clinician in a specialist complex treatment service for military veterans. He has experience of working with a wide range of problems and difficulties, and has particular experience with Complex-Trauma and Moral Injury.

Christian is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).  He has a special interest in developing the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for members of the armed and uniformed services communities and is committed to helping disseminate the best in evidence based psychological therapy, through his work with clients, supporting professionals with clinical supervision & consultation, and delivering training for professionals to enhance and deepen clinical skills. He regularly runs training events, having done so for organisations as diverse as the NHS, third sector organisation, and the MOD.
