About Christian

I’m a psychotherapist, trainer, and supervisor, with a passion for helping professionals develop their skills and competence when working with men, trauma, and military veterans, & complexity.

I am BABCP Accredited and have extensive experience across civilian, military, and veteran mental health. I served as a uniformed mental health clinician in the British Army and have worked in NHS secondary care, specialist veteran services, and the private sector. Over the years, I’ve supported individuals struggling with a wide range of difficulties — with particular expertise in complex trauma and moral injury.

My Approach:

I’ve trained in several evidence-based approaches, but I specialise in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These models give therapists powerful, flexible tools — especially when working with clients who are angry, avoidant, stuck, or carrying deep pain.

What matters most to me is workability: using what works in the room, not just in theory.

That’s why I focus on training therapists in practical, usable skills rooted in behavioural science and psychological flexibility.

How I Can Support You:

Alongside my clinical work, I provide:

  • Professional training on ACT & CBT for therapists.

  • Specific training for professionals working with men, veterans, or trauma.

  • Clinical supervision & consultation for individuals and teams.

  • Workshops for organisations looking to deepen their understanding of trauma, identity, moral injury, and military veterans.

I’ve delivered training for organisations across the NHS, Ministry of Defence, and third sector — always aiming to make behavioural science accessible, applicable, and grounded.

If you’re a professional or service supporting clients who are struggling with trauma, stuck in rigid roles, or psychological consequences of military or masculine cultures — I’m here to support your work.
